Executions
Based on the committee’s statistics, in the past month at least 26 Kurdish citizens imprisoned by the Iranian regime were executed on charges such as membership in Kurdish parties, religious belief differences, drug-related accusations, and other unclear charges
Three of the executed individuals were under 35 years old. Of these, more than 9 were from Kermanshah province, over 6 from Urmia province, 2 from Sanandaj, and the rest from other cities and districts in East Kurdistan whose full identities were not revealed
The identified executed individuals include
Vahid Arman (34 years old), Ali Astan (25 years old), and Peyman Azizi (21 years old), all residents of Kermanshah province, executed in regime prisons during November
Killing and Injury of Border Couriers (Kolbars) by Mines and Direct Shooting
According to the Statistical Center of the Youth Union’s Human Rights Committee, in November
2 Kolbars were seriously injured by direct gunfire from Iranian armed forces, and 1 Kolbar lost a limb due to a mine explosion
Identified victims: Sherzad Hosseini from Mariwan and Asad (full name unknown) from Nosha were severely wounded by Iranian forces; Ibrahim Abdollahi from Javanrud lost a leg due to a landmine explosion
By law, border guards must issue a warning shot before firing directly, but Iranian forces routinely shoot to kill without warning, targeting the heads and chests of Kolbars
On November 25 – International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
Throughout the history of its rule, the Iranian regime has systematically oppressed Kurdish women under pretexts such as strict hijab enforcement, political and religious issues, social norms, civil activism, and even Kurdish language teaching
Example cases include
· Jina (Mahsa) Amini, killed in Tehran for alleged hijab violations
· Wareesha Moradi and Pakhshan Azizi, two Kurdish resistance women imprisoned and sentenced to death
· Zara Mohammadi, a Kurdish language teacher previously detained
Beyond these cases, Kurdish women are deprived of many basic and political rights. While November 25 is only one day dedicated to resisting violence against women, in Iran oppression, executions, and deprivation of fundamental rights occur daily
Note: In preparing this report, information from all Kurdish human rights organizations and field data obtained by the Youth Union were used
